I tried Cho Gao for the first time recently, and I'll definitely be going back. The restaurant is quite welcoming, appropriate for small or large groups. The servers are very, very friendly, but my group did run into a few hiccups: a drink arrived that nobody had ordered and they ended up splitting the bill in two for each table, even though the groups sitting at both tables were part of the same party. Forgivable considering the large number of diners, though. I tried the steamed seafood dumplings (Dhs 35 for six pieces) which were quite good and the Nasi Gurang (Dhs 65) which doesn't look like you'd expect but which I enjoyed very much. The curries also look very appetizing.
Non-smoking atmosphere, and a pretty wide range of alcoholic drinks available as well. Parking can be a little difficult on that side of the city, so factor in parking time.
Very less options for vegetarians.Atmosphere was good n silent, liked it.Service was too good mean waiters were too nice to us.Actually don't know about non-veg food but veg food was ok for me.i only like the Dumplins. But i would say,Non-vegeitarians may like this place. They have good alcoholic options.
