I've been to dragon mart very many times,in fact ever since it was opened. The mall itself is laid out well, with one main aisle, and the shops behind, on the left and right. While the areas are marked with alphabets, and also the type of merchandise available there, its not really the case. You can find anything anywhere. so we have furniture in the garments section etc.It doesnt really matter because, after going there a no: of times, u kind of know where what is available.
I would recommend shopping here for goods which r quite unique, some better priced, and definitely good for bulk buys. Its a shopper's paradise for pearls, stones, artificial jewellery, shoes, bags....u name it and its there.Things are not necessarily 'cheap' but they are surely better priced than what u would get in the local market.
The ready-made garment section is not really top quality, as their sizes do not suit the sizes in this part of the world.(They are usually petite)
The one thing i think it lacks is some fast food/restaurant for veg shoppers.
so much so..we have to come back hungry!
I used to visit dragon mart so many times as I had this image that this is most cheapest Mall in dubai. I mostly used to buy hand bags from there. But I'm really disappointed to see the quality of bags I bought. You can get good branded quality bags in same price range from Nine West and Vincci. I personally feel, it makes you fool by saying they have less prices. I dont like quality of things in Dragon Mart. I have been to Auchan many times as well which is good for ppl who are living in international city or warqa. Overall its an average mall!
Dragon Mart is a very good place to shop around, i also live in International City and i have purchased everything for my apartment from Dragon Mart. I really love shopping here because we can buy everything under one roof and such so economic.
Chinese goods- Dragon Mart is the first resort and the last word. You get everything under the sun!
From the latest technology electronic products,to clothes, accessories, hand bags, footwear, furnitures, hardware, carpets, toys,it'a all there.Plenty of shops and a huge variety to choose,it's hard to decide while buying, because the selections are umpty.
My hand bags purchases are always from Dragon Mart,I have a pretty good collection of hand bags from DM alone! The sale prices are good but,but it's never too easy to cover the entire mart in a day.
This mall, designed in the shape of a dragon, lies big enough for our toes to hurt every 20 minutes ;),a good hub, with comparitively cheaper prices than anywhere in Dubai, lies luxuriously in the China cluster of International City.
I've been to Dragon Mart once and i'm definitely coming back! I've been here in Dubai for only 5months and never have I imagined I would love this place! It's a must-visit place for a shopping spree! I went here with my sisters during the Eid Holiday which was 2 weeks ago and while going there, I was actually not happy with the long drive. But when I get to explore the stores and the cheap bargains, I was totally overwhelmed and my abrupt visit resulted to panic-buying and lots and lots of haggling! I would really recommend Dragon Mart to everyone who wishes to go shopping not only for themselves but for their loved ones, too! Again, I'm definitely coming back to this place! :)
Dragon mart is the largest Mall for China Made Materail in UAE ,Dragon Mart is suitable for bulk shopping and whole sale dealer's and If any body the need a buffer qty to save some mony the must go to Dragon mart and the will be find out allot of warity and I would be recommend shopping in this Mall becosue you can purchase all the stuff for all family members ,
Over all I like Dragon Mart becosue it is so easy for me to reached there becosue we are living in International City in France Cluster
Dragon Mart's the best place to be! They cater to bunches of stuff all from CHINA. It's a ONE STOP SHOP! They have thousands of stalls selling all kinds of things -just name it! They have it all. It reminds me of a place in my homeland except Dragon Mart's so much cleaner & safer for shoppers! Nevermind the location of where Dragon Mart is. From 45mins to an hour & a half by bus. Eventhough it's really far from the city proper, it's definitely worth your time. Only, you have to allot a whole day just to explore the entire mall for this a humongous one!
There are several fast foods you can find at the foodcourt: pizza, arabic, chinese, japanese cuisines etc. You can also find more of snack stands, burger stands, nachos etc along the whole stretch of the mall which is a clever idea for it's really tiring exploring Dragon Mart.
Dragon Mart has a well-planned layout. The stalls were arrange by zones according to what type they are selling. Thumbs up for their grouping strategy. With that system you can easily know where you wanna go.
All the good finds are there, price wise, definitely! For instance, the wallpaper we bought cost DHS35 compare to other malls it's way much cheaper. A heavy duty baby stroller -3wheeler, a current design is only DHS180, but because it's Dragon Mart & they allow to haggle or bargain w/the seller, we bought it for DHS160.
It's a very recommendable place to go for a shopping spree. But make sure to make a list for your priority or the things you wish to buy before going here, you might either forget it because of so much stuff you'll see inside the mall &/or might also resort to overspending. It's the number 1 tip!
Lastly, you should have a car if you're planning to stay a bit late or if not better leave the mall at 10pm if you want to catch up w/the bus. About taxi cab, we spend DHS50 going to Bur Dubai.
Nevertheless, 'still a big fan & will keep on coming back.
Dragon mart is the largest Chinese market outside China -- its big and not so easy on the feet. Also after getting used to the superb Dubai malls, one finds Dragon mart much lacking in detailed maps, informed help desk staff and baby change rooms. Shops are not categorized, rather a clothes shops can be next to an electronics one. However, the merchandize is cheaper than anywhere and you can find almost anything under the sun, parking is never an issue and you will feel as if in China. If you plan to go, wear comfortable shoes and make your shopping list since you come up on shops unexpectedly.
