I've been going here for a few years now (as has the rest of my family) but I can't say I'm completely satisfied with the service. The doctors, although fairly competent, won't go out of their way to explain to you what exactly is wrong.
And the system in place for picking up meds...well, let's just say that you'll be doing a lot of sitting around and waiting. Which is not necessarily what you want to be doing when you're ill.
They do, however, accept all sorts of insurance, and it's not really a hassle getting in or out, just hand over your card and...do some waiting!
i have been to several pediatricians around Abu Dhabi and i find that the pediatricians in Gulf Diagnostic Center are the best. They listen to you, they explain the medical findings in the most understandable way. They take time to really check on the patient. My son has had a sort of allergy or rash since birth and only the doctors at GDC had given my son the remedy. It has been a year now since I last took him to his doctor as he is doing well. I suggest that you book an appointment a week in advance as a lot of time they are fully book, also for your own convenience that you won't have to wait that long. Even if you have to, they have a small playground for kids. Consultation is just the same as other hospitals when presented with insurance cards. They also have a pharmacy just beside them for convenience.
