The stuff is good but it saddens me when I see an increase in prices prior the beginning of Ramadan. In many other countries particularly the ones that follow Christianity when people celebrate their occasions like Christmas, there is sale, and reduction in prices on almost all items. It is unfortunate to see the opposite reaction in this country during occasions.
I will not say it is the best mall. I do not go to this mall very often because I do not find a lot of things there. However I like the cinemas and dining places. The exteriors of the mall are very nice.
I love Zara because this is the only place where I find shoes that fit me! I literally have to go hunting for slim fit shoes but I do not find any at most of the famous shoe stores around here. But Zara never lets me down when it comes to slim fit sandals and shoes. The clothes are very formal for my taste. The TRF section is more of my type. I will not prefer Zara for casual clothing but I would for formals and dresses. The customer service is good, however I do not like how some staff members just stick with you until you make the purchase! I mean some of them just stay there with you and keep urging you to buy the product or keep commenting on how a particular shoe or top looks great on you (if i asked him/her to get it for me if I do not find the one i want on the racks). I appreciate their attention but too much attention starts getting on my nerves!
A nice place for a buffet. I liked the dessert corner, in fact I loved it! the other items were good too. Since it is a steak house, I was expecting scrumptious mouth watering steaks but I was a little disappointed. The steaks were just "okay". The customer service is a little slow. I expect more cleanliness and space. The chairs and tables are very jam packed together.
The ambiance of this bookstore is the best part. This is exactly how bookshops should be like (however I would appreciate some seating areas which I could use to browse the 10 books in my hand!) The collection of books is wide, I found books there that I did not find at any bookstores in Abu Dhabi. The prices are okay (I would go for Jashanmal Books any day when it comes to prices). The school supplies are amazing and I love the other stuff they have like greeting cards and other items.
I like the collection of books they got here but I would not say I love the store. The prices for books are too high, why should I pay so much for a book when I can get the exact same book at Jashanmal Bookstore at a much cheaper price. For a bookworm, a reasonably priced bookstore is a haven and Jarir does not fit into that. I am not sure how the school and office supplies are because I have not really bought any. The customer service is okay, just 2 or 3 staff members that are actually helpful.
I do like this store. On the other hand I have got to say that a lot of their clothes are cheaply made and they ruin a perfect top by adding weird flowers or frills on it. I wish I could get the stuff I see on their website, I do not know why they do not bring more things to the store here, ones they sell online or at stores in the US etc. And the worse part is that I never get my size! The shirts and tops are too big, even the small size is big. Please make products for naturally thin girls!
As much as I love the attractive items, I am saddened by the fact that the prices are too high, and honestly the products are not even worth it. Yes I find lots of creative and good stuff but why pay 75 Dirhams for a ring when i can find a similar one at Forever21 at a reasonable price. And some things are so breakable, they break after few uses, I do not think they use good quality materials to make their items. On the other hand, I like the nail polishes, reasonable priced and good range of colors especially if you want to try out a funky color for the day. Not to forget mentioning, the sales at Claire's are hard to miss! I want to love Claire's, and i would only if they reduce their prices to some extent.
Good price range, eye shadows are remarkable and easy to use(not cakey) smooth and quite blendable, and what is the best part of Inglot if you ask me, I would surely say the colour variety. My friend got her make up done from Inglot for a party and I was impressed by how it was done, even though the area in which the make up was being done was too tiny and uncomfortable. The nail polishes are great too.
Mikyajy is a trade name that a good number of us have not paid attention to of or if we have then we have not really tried a lot of stuff from there. I was hesitant on entering the store but the product wrapping seemed so attractive and vibrant that I had to seize a glance. I went in and tried a small amount of products on my skin to test the quality. The eye liners and mascaras were actually very good. I decided to leave out testing more makeup. I liked the make up brushes as well, the bristles were fine and soft, just how nearly everyone likes. I did not fancy the perfumes or shower gels very much though. Just one or two of them were really good but the rest did not impress me much. The staff and their services were excellent. Overall, it is a nice little place for youngsters.
A great place definitely to shop for organic and natural products. From perfumes to creams to shampoos, I love their products. The prices for a lot of products are very reasonable. If you are an animal lover (like me) and would prefer things that are not tested on animals this is the place for you. I have not tried the make up so I will not comment on it.
A great place for everybody. Reasonable prices, good stuff and up to date collections of apparel. Let me warn you, this place is not for window shopping because you cannot help but make purchases! I am not a big fan of Shoe Mart but I really like Splash and Lifestyle. Each time I go to Splash, there is new stuff to check out (I am big Lee Cooper fan) and because I am quite lean, this is one of the few places that has clothes that fit me!
I love love love this bookstore! I cannot help but visit it every now and then. The customer service is beyond good and the staff is very cooperative and friendly. The books are reasonably priced unlike many other bookstores here which is the best part of this bookstore. Jashanmal Bookstore is mainly a books oriented store so you will not find a lot of office and school supplies, but you could go to Carlton Cards beside it for some supplies I guess. The bookstore even has a small lounge that offers snacks and couches to rest in (or read of course!). I am a loyal customer of Jashanmal Bookstore for all time!
The ambiance of this Indian restaurant was good (I took a table in the area outside the restaurant because it was too crowded inside). I was satisfied with the services. But I was not very impressed with the food. The food was not worth the price I paid neither did I like the taste. Parking is not an issue, the cars could be parked in The Souk parking lots and because the restaurant has an opening on the road, so there is parking available there as well. Overall I was okay with the restaurant, not something I would go back to I guess.
I went to this salon for the first time for a manicure and pedicure. The manicurist was horrible. Three of my fingers were bleeding continuously and 1 of them had some minor swelling later. The manager did notice the bleeding and told the manicurist to be careful, however I do not believe that is enough. Such things should be taken seriously and not ignored. Along with that, the manicurist kept dropping things on the floor, I found that very unhygienic. I had no complaints about the pedicure but I will not go back to this salon for any further services. Considering the location of this salon (Al Wahda mall, which was rated the best mall of Abu Dhabi) I expected top class services, but I felt disappointed.
For me, a stay at this hotel was a well deserved break from the nerve wracking daily grind. I checked in for just one day and one night (all I could afford!) but it was enough to make me feel like a queen. The room I checked in was enormous and I shrieked as I entered the bathroom. It was as big as a house with a huge sunken tub and several alcoves stuffed with high-class bathing salts and moisturizers. This was good for me as the spas at the hotel were not easy on my pockets!
