Mirdif city center is really a boon to people living on this side of town. It has all the stores that we would ever need...fashion, shoes, decor, bookshops..u name it...and mirdif CC has it.The best part is they have loads of parking...without getting lost...directions to get out ...to which ever side....(dxb or shj or bac to mirdif) I thought that was most intelligent. The lay out is easy to follow...
Nice meeting place...with some nice restaurants too!
It would have really been unique if they had intelligent lighting systems installed in the parking lots....
Every time i pass there...i feel a lot of energy's getting wasted :(
Ibn batuta...the 1km mall...I love that place. Its so easy to follow...and u cant get lost.Even tho' its one end for me(i stay in ghusais) i still do land up going there. It does have all the brands there....the feel of the mall is really nice...
nice movie experience...
i would recommend it to everyone...n is always on our list when we have overseas visitors. Whoever we've taken there...have loved it...the decor, the different zones n the write up on the traveler!
I've been to tchibo at the outlet mall, very many times. I think its really wonderful to go in there. They have stuff which have such amazing prices. I got a duvet set for a bargain price, very good hi-count cotton too! Their garments are of a good quality and value for money. The only thing which is a little irritating is that the garments are all flat packed. So if u want to check the material or the size...you have to open the pack!.
If u like something, and would like to go back for it...you may not find it the next time.
But all in all...a good store and its always on my list of visits when i go to that mall.
I've been to dragon mart very many times,in fact ever since it was opened. The mall itself is laid out well, with one main aisle, and the shops behind, on the left and right. While the areas are marked with alphabets, and also the type of merchandise available there, its not really the case. You can find anything anywhere. so we have furniture in the garments section etc.It doesnt really matter because, after going there a no: of times, u kind of know where what is available.
I would recommend shopping here for goods which r quite unique, some better priced, and definitely good for bulk buys. Its a shopper's paradise for pearls, stones, artificial jewellery, shoes, bags....u name it and its there.Things are not necessarily 'cheap' but they are surely better priced than what u would get in the local market.
The ready-made garment section is not really top quality, as their sizes do not suit the sizes in this part of the world.(They are usually petite)
The one thing i think it lacks is some fast food/restaurant for veg shoppers.
so much so..we have to come back hungry!
i was shopping at festival city dubai and it was close to dinner time.TGIF had visually appealing advts on the escalator...about the special offers on their pasta. Their service was prompt and what i liked was that they were willing to alter the dish to make a vegetarian option for me.They also made sure that it would be cooked in a clean pan which was not used for meat/chicken. The other very nice thing was that i could take my meal n sit in the food court outside and join my husband who chose some other meal that day.
But there was one major drawback...the menu itself did not mention what type of pasta was going to be on that dish (spaghetti or other) and did not mention the sauce used. The menu might have had the choice of pasta on the meat dishes, but when it came to veg offers....first of all there were none, and second there was no mention of what was going to be cooked!
All in all....good experience...but can go better esp for vege's like me!
