From the outside it is a brightly lit shop and draws the eye and equally as pleasing on the inside too. Selling such goods as note pads, wrapping paper, soft toys, gadgets, bags, pencil cases and stationary. It is enjoyable to look round and the staff very attentive. However the prices are extortionate, who would spend 49 dirhams on a simple small greeting card? Everything in the shop is vastly over price which is a shame as it does have an edge in the market but the shop is so often empty.
what a place to buy your Qatayef dough, ready made cooked with walnuts, plain or with orange blossom. This shop is not only enticing on the outside but is so inviting on the inside. There is a range of dough pre cooked and ready to take home for your Iftar meal and Suhoor meal, they sell a range of beautiful syrups and date syrups to make the Qatayef even more delcious. You can also buy the dough pre cooked saving you a lot of hard work but taking all the credit for the beautiful sweets. I keep coming back to this shop as it is so delicious.
Although this is not the biggest of Malls in Abu Dhabi it has everything you need under one roof, from Lulu to Debenhams, Sony, Early Learning Centre, book shops and a cinema. This has everything a large Mall has but without the feeling of being so overwhelmed by a maze of floors. It offers vallet parking although the parking is spacious and very close to the Mall. This Mall has won my heart as it is offers all the festive decorations and adds to my families excitement over Ramadan. Nothing like a good shopping trip followed by the kids having an amazing time at Sparky's. It pleases everyone in the family with the decorations, sales and wonderful array of shops.
Could spend hours in this place, the range of music, dvd's, books, clothing, ipods, headphones and gadgets is amazing. It is well laid out and easy to find music by genre. The shop is spacious and does not feel cramped even though it has a massive amount of stock. What I loved the most about this was I heard a cd they were playing and there was a dj playing the cd and he told me what he was playing and I was able to purchase the disk. The only criticism I have however is the price of the books and cd's, almost double the retail price in the UK making it easier to order on line from the UK and have it shipped over.
Absolutely brilliant value for money, I have never seen such a feast like I have here before. The place is bustling which makes it interesting to be in. The food is of a very high standard and even though the staff are very busy they always remain polite. The only problem is finding somewhere to park as it is very busy round there. I would recommend this place for an Iftar meal and any other time of the year. First class.
Away from the hussle and bustle of Dubai this is just the type of Mall you want to pop to and for it not to take hours or get lost! Parking is easy and spacious so don't need the tin opener to get your car out like some Malls I could mention. Dubai Outlet Mall is well laid out and airy, not too cold either with air conditioning like some Malls have you buying a cardigan to cope with the cold! The range of shops are good from clothes shops, shoe shops and a nice food court with some offering a wi-fi services which I found useful. The time we visited they were doing a promotion on Thailand had had soap carving, Thai dancing and information on Thailand. It was lovely to sit and watch the Thai dancing and take the weight off my feet and rest all the shopping bags!!! Dubai Outlet Mall is small but has everything under one roof you could need. Thumbs up from me.
Really well laid out store, comprehensive to go round and all on one level unlike the other Carrefour. The isles are wide so it feels very spacious inside. The range off foods is excellent as are the clothes, fresh fish counter, deli counter, meat and frozen section. It is sparkly clean and the staff are so helpful and polite. The Ramadan decor makes one feel in the spirit of Ramadan. I shop here all the time as I like to know where things are which makes the chore of grocery shopping so much easier. My only criticism is that it is in the middle of the Mall so quite a way to push a trolley back to the car.
Just the thing we needed here! Dalma Mall is going to be the biggest Mall in Abu Dhabi and Cine Royal is up and running. It is so easy to park near to and is right next to the level of parking. Fall range of films on offer. Plenty of toilet facilities which most other cinemas lack. Films showing clearing marked on the doors and very helpful staff to guide you to where you are going, genuinely friendly which is a nice change. Only criticism I have is the film times are hard to read as it is showing films showing at 05.15 when it needs to show it in 24 hour or 12 hour clock. Do you know what was the best thing about this cinema, they actually got the temperature correct in the film hall, it was just perfect, not too hot or cold. This to me was a big bonus as so often it is too cold. Well done Cine Royal.
Excellent array of films although the on line booking never is working so you have to be there early to get tickets. The cinema is easy to get too with ample parking, wide array of good snacks. I think they have the air conditioning on too low and it is so cold in there, top that off with a large drink and you know the consequences!!!!
Not the most well run of companies to be honest. The offices which you attend are so busy, especially the Mussafah branch it is always so busy. When you launch a complaint they send you an sms with a complaint number on but it never seems to progress any further than that. My internet from elife never runs at the right speed as I do a speed check on it making it so frustrating at times. The only thing I would say is that I follow them on twitter and they are quick to answer questions on there even if they can't resolve the problem. There are only 2 phone companies over here so they seem to have the monopoly. In the UK there are many phone providers so the competition is greater so they have to work harder to keep their customers happy which Etisalat lack.
Burger Kings burgers are so much more substantial than any other burger fast food take away joint. The menu is varied and exciting so all the family are happy! It is well lit, clean and the staff are very polite. The food is cooked freshly and is piping hot unlike some places. The toilets are well maintained and spotlessly clean. WE always go to Al Wahdah Burger King as there is not the the wait unlike other burger bars who either take so long the food is cold or get your order wrong.
The Hilton Hotel is splendid in it's Iftar spirit and it's staff are so attentive you feel like you are the only one in the hotel. The rooms are offered at various prices to suit ones needs and has the beautiful over look of the Corniche. very close to Abu Dhabi Centre and would recommend to anyone coming to Abu Dhabi. The hotel is second to none in looks, catering, care and luxurious facilities.
Marina Mall is the finest Mall in Abu Dhabi, it offers everything from Cinema's to bowling to food courts and of course every type of shop you could want. It has a clear lay out and it light and airy which most Malls lack. Ample parking and a superb array of shops.
Ferrari world offers a mix high adrenalin rides and interesting history surrounding the Ferrari company. The Formula Rossa roller Coaster offers the genuine thrill of an F1 speed, whereas the 4D car chase simulation offers an experience more suited to children. It is well equipped with food outlets and merchandise. Easy to spend a full day there and well worth it.
Carrefour is stocked with everything you could need under one roof. The shop is always clean and welcoming and the staff are always plentiful. The Ramadan offers are second to none and I never shop anywhere else.
Stunning hotel with a very modern look. It is instantly welcoming with the friendly reception staff. The rooms are just spottless and you really feel pampered. The out look over the City Gate is breath taking at night. The pool parties they have done have been such a hit, as the searing heat fades the music begins and it is so relaxing. Relax, the bar on the roof top provides stunning views while the DJ spins some wicked tunes. The facebook page is always active and the staff there reply to any issues you have or questions.
Yas Marina Circuit holds a variety and involving events. Ranging from the adrenalin pumping Grand Prix to the exciting Australian V8 supercars. Although each event could function it's own it is backed up with a variety of things aimed at involving the fans such as pitlane walks, meeting the drivers for autographs and a fanzone area if you follow them on facebook. The events are very reasonably priced with a range of normal seating to VIP seating catering to everyones needs. We have attended all the motorsports such as Gt1, drift car racing (which was one of my personal favourites) to extreemly noisey but incredible 8,000 bhp drag racers. The Grand Prix was superbly organised catering for the sell out event, each night followed by a fantastic concerts. They encourage fans to join in by doing competitons on line on facebook and twitter to win hotlaps round the track, meet drivers. They also function outside of the motorsports events by having go karting days, bring your own car to race and cycle nights. The staff are incredibly friendly and are prompt to answer any questions you may raise. Yas Marina brings lots of exciting events to the UAE.
