Al Dawaar revolving restaurant is famous because it is the only rotating restaurant in Dubai. Located on the 25th floor at Hyatt Regency Hotel Deira, this restaurant offers a stunning 360° view of Dubai. It takes around 2 hours to revolves, so we would not feel dizzy and can actually really enjoy the view in every direction. You could get wonderful view from any seat, but in my opinion, the ones by the window were the best.
The food itself was wonderful. Their buffet had huge choices of international cuisine from European, Middle East and Asian and some vegetarian dishes as well. My favorite was the sushi bar:). A sushi chef was stationed to prepare fresh sushi for us. Another live cooking station was the meat station. The chef was there to serve us with whichever dish/ meat we want him to carve. The sushi was really fresh and delicious, I filled up my plate twice and wished I could eat more of them. Meat and other dishes were very tasty as well. We tried oyster, prawn (my daughter’s favorite!), fish selections not to mention the wonderful dessert. They have some flavors of ice cream with various toppings, cheese cake, triple chocolate cake (highly recommended!), fruit cake and the list continues. All dishes were nicely presented, fresh and warm. The waiter and waitress were always around ready to help anytime. One thing that made me impressed more, they even have 3-4 kinds of crackers and one of them was prawn cracker, all-time favorite in Asia!
I really like the ambiance, it was luxury but relaxing atmosphere as well. A fine dining and family friendly at the same time. For 2 adults and a six year old, it cost us almost Dhs600 soft drinks included. It is free for kids under 6 though. Credit card accepted, booking is necessary for special occasion and during weekend.
I will come back again and again for sure. For the food and hospitality and its uniqueness, Al Dawaar just never lets me down:).
Incredible interior at Madinat Jumeirah ramadan tent! Not to mention the iftar selections! at this holy month, spoil your taste buds with arabian delicacies and their sumptuous buffet. Individual, groups and VIPs are welcome. Kids below 4 year old dine for free, while 4 - 12 year old only needs to pay 50%.
Carrefour is still my most favourite place for me to buy dates. This ramadan, again Carrefour has a mini ramadan tent inside which provides selections of dates and ramadan products. You could choose dates from different suppliers and countries. They are packed in big and small quantity. Plain dates or mixed also available.
Love this place! Their falafel really a must try in town:). The small pieces falafel definitely my favourite along with the Tahinna. They are basically a delivery and take away restaurant, they have a very limited sitting area inside however most of the customers option for delivery/ take away. The falafel sandwich comes in many selections such as Lebanese, Italian, Mexican, etc. All falafel are made fresh in front of your eyes:).
A very big shopping center with lots of activities for the whole family. During ramadan, all the food outlets are closed until 5 or 6pm (near to Iftar) however could still buy things for take away or call them for delivery.
Large selections of goods and foods. You could find anything you need this ramadan. Just try to shop when they just open in the morning and avoid to shop after 4pm because the que to the cashier could be very long.
Love the shawarma, outdoor sittings and service. In your rush hour, you could just stop your car and order from one of their guy (wearing green shirts) and they will bring the order to your car. Very convenient and the prices are reasonable too!
