just like everyone says, worth a visit. its so big that i recommend you to take your time and carefully look into each details how beautiful they are. Nice place to see, if you are in UAE. It is not the biggest mosque in the world (capacity 45'000 - 50'000 pax) but probably the most beautiful - decorated with white marble, marble flowers and gold. I was really really impressed with this building. This sight is a must see if you like beautiful buildings. This is a must visit for anyone going to either Dubai or Abu Dhabi is is completely stunning. The building and surrounding area is just amazing. They do give you full burkas to wear as you must cover up while you are visiting including your head but this adds to the trip.
Al wahda is one of the many malls you find in this city. This mall offers branded stores of clothes, accessories, perfumes, furniture and a lot more for all ages and a hypermart - Lulu -located in the basement. What I like about this place is it has a lot of open space to hang around in, with general sit outs located in certain areas. Spacious and large elevators is another plus point. For children there is ‘wanasa land’ with its usual offerings of rides, video games etc. But if you decide to go there during the morning or afternoon hours it can be disappointing as not much activity goes on during this time. The food court here is good with restaurants offering varied cuisines. You have beirut for lebanese, mcdonalds, burger king, hardees, shamiyana (Indian), chillies, and a whole lot more, offering chinese, Italian, thai and arabic cusines. Plenty of parking is available at this place, this especially is a big bonus given the parking situation in abu dhabi which is pathetic.
I will never be without Starbucks in my household. I love their coffees that much. I cannot remember the first time I tried Starbucks but I have been a fan ever since.
When I am in Abu Dhabi. Starbucks is a pleasure that I hold tightly to and will always have a bag of their coffee in my household and if their store is nearby will go in a enjoy a cup of their fine product. They are committed to their customers and the quality of their product and have a customer for life.
love to go to Ponderosa. They have a terrific all you can eat buffet with a fantastic variety of foods available. Sure they sell steaks, but I rarely order anything but the buffet. There are lots of different foods, sure to please everyone in my crowd. Once you have finished with the main course, they also have a desert bar where you have your choice of soft ice cream, cookies, brownies, cake, bread pudding, and more. Not only is the food excellent, but it is also very healthy. As I said before, there are lots of different fruits and vegetables as well as meats, several varieties of breads, cottage cheese, puddings and ice cream. It's easy to find something from all food groups. The service has always been great, and the restaurant has always been clean
