There isn't a person in this town who doesn't love the shishas at this very sha3bi, on the grass cafe!
Break out the shaddeh if the weather is good; if not, order your shisha out to your car (no, really! they'll do that for you if you park right outside)
(they're even kind of cool about letting you bring your own food. as long as you order something)
Reasonable prices, good food, good shisha, nice outdoor sea breeze - I have no complaints about this place at all. Great location on the breakwater too!
Presumably this is the one next to Marina Mall (is there another one the Corniche?)
I can't entirely make up my mind about this place. Everything is good...but...
The service was really professional and fast...but it seems they're just trying to empty up the table
The food was EXCELLENT...but the portions are pretty small (I'm used to LARGE american style breakfasts).
The ambiance is pleasant...but the seats aren't comfortable (and if it's crowded, you're basically eating with the people next to you)
It's still nice when it's empty
I've said I love Japanese food and I'll say it again. This place is a hidden gem.
Granted I've only tried it a couple of times, but it gets my adventurous spirit going...now, I'm not saying I necessarily found the raw duck experience delicious but it was interesting!
Try the sushi boat...oh, and I know miso soup is usually a bit boring but these guys have got it down!
I love this place. I really have no complaints, I've been going here for years (remember when it was mosaic?) and i've always felt right at home. it's just that kind of place, it's got a very comfortable atmosphere and laid back crowd...
i know it's an outdated term...but it really is just chillax ;)
Look...this place might have really good facilities and all, and I know coz I used to go there...but now the prices are just prohibitive...it's impossible to get a decent membership package! Forget about it
This place is AWESOME!
There's nothing in the menu that isn't mouth wateringly good (that beef asparagus roll has been on my mind all week) - that and the Japanese atmosphere (no, really...the table next to us were speaking Japanese...so you know it's pretty damn authentic)
And these guys know how to keep you happy - even offered us complimentary Maki before our appetizers...
The cocktails were a bit weird, but they do have other Japanese drinks on offer for those brave enough to try.
Overall A plus
