Good place to get treated unless you have some rare disease and also they are bringing in new specialist Docs. They are improving. Of course some Docs are over-booked for appointments, but all are available. I am satisfied. The systems are in place properly for appointments, treatment, lab and follow-ups.
I came here once with a friend, and I had mixed impressions. First of all, their pharmacy and other facilities are pretty good. The doctors know what they are doing and the staff are quite helpful. The only negative of this hospital, and I can't emphasize the term negative enough, is their handling of appointments. If you can get an appointment, sometimes it counts for something, sometimes not. But if you don't have an appointment, expect to spend more than half of your day waiting to see a doctor. They are really unorganized, and pretty ill-equipped to handle the traffic they receive.
if you're really feeling sick and wants immediate attention, don't ever think to come here as they don't know the meaning of emergency. i rushed my cousin here because she's suffering from asthma and struggling her breath already but when they checked her in the emergency room, the nurse said it's not an emergency case, she needs to go to the GP first.! and come to think of it, going to GP means almost 2 hours of waiting for your turn just to see a doctor. So, we just moved to another hosp. nearby in which my cousin was treated right away upon seeing her.
DOCTORS ARE GOOD
NO PROPER APPOINTMENT SYSTEM ITS WORST... IF URGENT PATIENT WILL GO HE WILL DIE SOON... NEVER EEVER TRY TO GO TO NMC.
APPOINT SYSTEMS ARE WORST NEVER EVER SEEN AROUND THE WORLD. - HARRASHMENT OF PATIENTS..
USELESS MANAGEMENT..... DONT TRY IF YOU DONT HAVE TIME
NMC , please dont send serious patients.....
SPOILING THE NAME OF ABUDHABI
DOCTORS ARE GOOD AND EXPERIENCE>>> STAFF RESPONSE TO NEW PATIENT RECEPTIONIST walla she dont know about what she is doing... ! all is nightmare to new patient.
Urgent care mashaalla - patient will die soon untill doctor see it.
nmc has a very bad system for organizing appointments. Walk-in patients are not given proper information on the phone, regarding when they should come to register to show to a doctor. The receptionist would say come 1 hr before the doctor's arrival time, but when one would come as said, you will find atleast 5-6 patients already registered before you!! And the staff of nmc will not give any explanations. Yes, doctors at nmc are good, but like I state in the example above, unless management changes things for the good, to get to the doctors is really a nightmare!!
