You know what? It's a decent airline, so I'm gonna start there. My problem is this: For a company that has continued to steadily increase its prices for the last few years since it opened (market penetration, nice trick), they really haven't shown anything in the form of bettering their services. It's the same, if not slightly worse than it was in year 1. I will continue to travel with them out of convenience since I live in the capital, but if I can help it, I will pick another airline first.
Good way to keep my kid siblings as far away from me as possible, lol. They're old enough not to need supervision, but still too young to enjoy their company without wanting to pull my hair out. It's also convenient coz it's just so much closer than the old skating rink, plus you have newer equipment to rent out.
I've only had a couple of dishes here, and it doesn't help that i wasn't all that hungry but i personally think indian food is basically the same at all restaurants, so the stand out point for me is presentation and service. and for that i'll give this place points, but it's not as good as ushna. still, not a bad choice at all
I normally come here for buying large household appliances - I'm not much a fan of the other stores. I will say this about Mina centre though, they always make an effort by providing something to keep the kids entertained on the ground floor - usually a bouncing castle or like a little pool with boats. There's also a fairly decent furniture store (2XL) that regularly has sale on many items.
All I can say is girls seem to love this gift! I'm not trying to sound G, I mean girls like my sister, aunts, ...and others ;) It's a really nice twist on a traditional bouquet and women really appreciate the thought you put into it more I think!
Prettyyyy pricey; will set you back like 300 Dhs at least (with delivery and all, for a decent sized bouquet with the works)
Food is good.
Sheesha is awesome.
Need more? You shouldn't, but ok.The atmosphere is bustling and alive, but the service is just about average.
I can't stress this enough: The sheesha is awesome - the flavour in the tobacco just seems to last longer than most places.
Of course, there's the family section as well to split the 7ashkal from the girls who just wanna have a good time without being hassled!
I can't begin to describe the quality of the tender beef. It was absolutely excellent. Great marinade, very well prepared and the whole experience was entirely entertaining.
I would eat there again in a heartbeat.
I wish there was a little more variety on the menu, but they've decided to stray away from the standard Abu Dhabi "international" menu and just focus on serving what they're best at.
With a name like Prestige Cars, these guys ain't kidding. The showroom features limited edition, top of the range cars exclusively.
You're not going to find your run of the mill, straight of the factory belt BMW or Porsche here. No, sir. That would be an insult to the unique and one-of-a-kind customized vehicles available here. From Wiesman to Benz limos and Mercedes SLR...the selection is endless.
This is a good place to go with your family, I think. It's got a good vibe to it, and it's very clean with a decent crowd.
The food is very good, and the drinks are all fresh (I thought the Bombay Chai Iced tea is a great infusion of flavour).
Not half bad. I think all the branches are just a bit pricey, but I kind of like the servers at this one better than the others...don't really know why. The setting is a bit weird, coz there is outdoor seating but it's literally just 2 tables. Sucks for the smokers (its a no-no indoors).
Great place, decent crowd and really good shisha. I don't think I need to say anything else really!
The service is just fine when you tip your shisha guy at the beginning...come on, everyone knows that old trick!
They're not kidding when they say world's greatest hamburger. as advertised. it is really one juicy burger. they might be exaggerating a little, but they're pretty damn close to the greatest.
The bread just melts in your mouth, and doesn't get in the way of the burger at all, unlike most burger buns.
The manager will pass by a couple of times to the table, which I always think is a nice touch...as long as I don't have food in my mouth! And they hand you a little electronic device for rating the overall qaulity at the end...because you know you're not gonna bother with the paper and pen. Also a nice touch.
I highly recommend the southwestern (guacamole and pepper jack cheese? you will die happy) and side order of onion rings. skip the fries. onion rings. SERIOUSLY.
The place is normally not crowded at all, but the seating leaves something to be desired. It’s too…open? And the service was more 3 star than 5, friendly, but not terribly fast.
Food’s not bad. But at the quality you expect in a place like this, your delicious teriyaki beef better be fat chunk free - that was not a nice surprise.
Still, the spring rolls, beef noodles and sweet chili chicken more than made up for it, to an overall well-rounded dining experience.
Live music is always fun, unless you’re sitting right by the band, and since the restaurant is not that big, you’re almost inevitably right by the band. Still, they don’t do a bad job at all in adding that Mexican touch :)
The chimichangas are drool-worthy, and are missing in other Mexican restaurants, so thank you El Sombrero. I also tried enchiladas mole…you’ve gotta be brave to take on a sauce like that, so make sure you have enough rice on the side!
I hear the drinks are pretty good too
Overall a decent effort for a mexican restaurant. Really great, authentic food.
I just wish they'd do themselves justice and move out of a mall setting. I mean, it's convenient when I wanna go to dinner and a movie...but why on else would I go to khalidiyya mall? No, they definitely need a stand-alone restaurant somewhere else in the city.
greasy, tasteless food. in a country that values their palate and holds it in high regard, even junk food should do better than what this place offers. i wouldn't go there again. even at half the cost. just no.
I don't know a single guy out there who doesn't love mashawi. And these guys are generous with their portions (don't get me wrong, I'll finish a plate, but I know a few girls who can't!)
lah, lah, for a place in the mall, this place is pretty legit, and the guys who work there are kinda fun
Probably my favourite cinema in the city. Dunno why really, it’s just more…comfortable…despite all the stair climbing you have to do lol.
Maybe it’s the crepes…I love those cream cheese filled crepes before a movie…how many cinemas offer that?
This place is pretty sweet. It’s a nice villa located in a quiet neighborhood. The one thing that makes it visible from a distance are its signature yellow umbrellas on the roof. You have the option of sitting indoors or outdoors on the terraces or rooftop (with a very traditional feel).
This place was disappointing. When you put the word 'crepe' in a name, you expect awesomeness of epic proportions...instead you get a 'stack' of pancakes. 3 small pancakes can hardly be called a stack.
The food is alright, but the portions are negligible...I do have to say that the menu is interesting, but promises more than it delivers.
this place is not bad. the food is really good, and the location is quite chill
the seating is just a little bit off (you know when a chair seems fine but you can't tell why it's just the tiniest bit uncomfortable?)
but i can't complain about the food, it's super creamy and rich, and you're gonna walk away smiling :)
oh plus the waitresses are really funny lol
this place is great. my favorite thing about it is that it's one of those real 'abu dhabi' places you know? to put it bluntly, it's not all jeans & t-shirts and it's not all kandooras/dishdashes either. it's a healthy mix of both and very representative of our society.
the food is excellent, really well prepared and presented - and it's filling without leaving you over the top stuffed
and remember to grab a bagel on your way out!!
oh: unless you're a hardcore cheese fan, you might not want to step into the fromagerie (the smell is really overwhelming, thank God it's closed off!)
yeah this place is alright...but it's more like the kind of place you go to when you can't think of anything more interesting to do - that's not a jab at the place, i actually like it, and it means it's my go-to place when i'm bored and need a sheesha...
I think I'm addicted to this place....they've just got everything (mobiles, laptops, tvs, speakers, printers, gadgets and even games)...I'm there every week checking out new gadgets and the staff are always well informed and helpful.
This is simply a great place for seafood - and it's basically what you would expect out of the Hiltonia and has a nice outdoor view on the sea.
They also have a strange international dishes for anyone not there for the fish!
